THE PROCESS

I founded Dyeforindigo in 2015, a Gothenburg based indigostudio offering natural indigodyeing, workshops and lectures.


I work only with natural ingredients and focusing

on the ancient dyeing, resist and mendingtechniques like shibori and sashiko.


If you are an artist or designer or a brand, and would like to commission us with dyeing fabric or yarn, get in touch.


I am offering dyeing service for all types of natural fibers.

After nearly 20 years in the fashionindustry I had seen enough of huge quantities, poor quality and opended a vintage store named Göteborg Vintage in 2014.

I used all my experience and created a meeting place where the focus was on craftmanship, quality and unique pieces of clothing.

Vintage denim, workwear, army surplus and local brands.

In other words: far far away from the fashion industry I left behind.

While working in the store I went deeper into the rabbit hole of textile craftsmanship. Here I found my answer to how I could express myself and my lifelong interest: indigo.


In 2016 I founded Dyeforindigo and today I am hosting workshops in indigodyeing and sashikomending, lectures and different collaborations, all focusing on suistanable and traditional techniques.
